Steven Liu, MD

Dr. Steven Liu earned his medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago in 1991. He took his internship and residency at the University of California and continued his residency and fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center from 1991-1998. Since moving to Alaska in 2005, he established his oncology practice and his affiliation with Providence Cancer Center, and he served as chair for the Department of Medicine at the Alaska Regional Hospital. Dr. Liu is currently the Research Director for Alaska Oncology and Hematology, LLC, in addition to his Oncology practice and seeing new patients daily. He is a recipient of a Merit Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in 1997 and Alpha Omega Alpha from Northwestern University in 1990. He has authored several publications and abstracts focusing on Lymphomas. Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with his family and traveling during his free time.
